What a unique addition this will make to your interior!
This blown glass vase was made using murrine, a technique where small rods of coloured glass are fused together to create patterns. This flat patterned glass is then heated, shaped, and blown into beautiful, functional vessels.
This murrine technique forms the basis of much of Southern Alberta glass artist Melony Stieben's work.
Melony uses this technique to explore forms of nature, particularly microscopic patterns, such as those found in spores and molecules.
This vase stands 8 inches tall.
